East Lyme, CT -- The MOMS Club of East Lyme is sponsoring its 2nd book drive to benefit the Light One Little Candle Foundation's program at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. Since it opened in the summer of 2006, Lawrence & Memorial has distributed more than 500 books to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. New children's books for babies through pre-teens can be donated at the organization's drop box located at the East Lyme Public Library, Children's Section, 39 Society Road, Niantic, CT. Donations will be accepted from April 1 through May 31, 2010.
The MOMS Club of East Lyme is part of an international support group consisting of 2000+ chapters and 100,000 members. They are designed to meet the needs of the at-home mother of today, providing community, understanding and activities for mothers and children of all ages.

Light One Little Candle is a national not-for-profit organization founded at the Bishop's Corner Branch Library in West Hartford, CT in April 2005. Light One Little Candle promotes reading as a way for adults with cancer to stay connected with the children in their lives.
